Dr. Woodard has a Master’s Degree in Education and a Post Master's Certificate in School Administration from Johns Hopkins University in Columbia, Maryland. In addition, she is a Princeton Black Theology and Leadership Institute (PBTLI) inaugural fellow. She received a Doctor of Ministry Degree from United Theological Seminary in Dayton, Ohio. Chrystal is a proud mother and the CEO of Chrystal Clear Consulting Inc.

After serving for many years, Dr. Chrystal M. Woodard was licensed as an Associate Minister under the leadership of Pastor Bobby D. Hicks at the New Home Baptist Church in Landover, Maryland. Since 2015, Dr. Woodard has been serving as Associate Minister under Bishop Leonard N. Smith at the Mount Zion Baptist Church in Arlington, Virginia.
